There are even further benefits to fitting NEO-TRAC™ to your car – The unit makes use of credit card sized RF-ID access tags for auto arming and disarming the tracking unit so no physical intervention is required by the user. If the tag is not present the vehicle will arm and then alarm automatically if it is moved or driven beyond 100 meters from its starting position.If the driver is separated from the vehicle or locked in a trunk the unit will automatically alarm as it will no longer be able to read the RF-ID access tag.  

The unit detects multiple states of motion and is able to determine if a car is moved, if a car has rolled of if a car has suffered a significant accident impact. These states can be configured to send various alarms with exact position, allowing instant response in the “golden hour” after an accident.

The unit makes use of GSM as its primary mode of communication. This is achieved with direct, secure, encrypted connections from our control centre directly into our Telco’s network. We also have control centres running in Belfast, Gothenburg and Sydney that can be used for redundancy.

The unit makes use of GPS as its primary source of position information and utilises the latest SIRF Star III GPS chipset which is widely regarded as the performance benchmark in the market. This technology allows for the retention of GPS lock in very unfavourable GPS conditions such as the unit being under cover etc...

Daily health checks ensure that the unit is constantly monitored for operational and system health. The customer will be notified via email in the event that the unit has not reported for a number of days
