NEO-TRAC
tracking your world
Valuable marine equipment deserves reliable protection
Marine
An important aim behind the NEO-TRAC™ system is to expand the conventional applications of tracking devices. With solutions available traditionally restricted to land-based vehicles, until now, owners of valuable marine equipment had little choice of affordable technology on which they could rely.
NEO-TRAC™ has been developed to meet the marine waterproofing standards of IPCX6 from the International Electrotechnical Commission. It’s therefore guaranteed to remain operational even after having been submerged underwater. Owners of yachts, powerboats and jet skis can now take advantage of NEO-TRAC™ technology to protect their assets against theft and misuse.
Small enough to be hidden in the most discrete locations, NEO-TRAC™ maintains an active watch over your equipment. The unit communicates with a Keyless SmartCard you carry to alert our SOC (Secure Operations Centre) if your marine vehicle moves without the SmartCard present, and effectively without your authorisation. The SOC service is configured to your specification to alert a number of possible authorities, including harbour masters, coastguards, police and, of course, you. The SOC tracks and locates your asset, leading authorities to its swift recovery.
Marine equipment is often left unattended for long periods of time. The NEO-TRAC™ unit has the lowest battery drain on the market. The unit is programmed to check in with our SOC at pre-defined intervals to ensure that battery power is maintained and that all is well. We can then alert you to any low power levels, leaving plenty of time to address the problem.
NEO-TRAC™ operates globally. The NEO-TRAC™ system will pinpoint your asset anywhere in the world, and our support staff work throughout South Africa and in over 70 countries beyond to ensure they are always your local contact.
You’ll find the benefit of insurance discounts can apply as NEO-TRAC™ is Thatcham CAT 5 approved, and much greater peace of mind knowing that precious equipment and valuable assets are finally adequately protected.
